Absolutely loved this helpful article. Was provided to me by a friendly local. I have loved otters since being a child in Wales when I read Ring of Bright Water by Gavin Maxwell. I admire their intelligence, grit and playfullness. I assume you know that the giant otters of the Amazon chase out jaguars and caimans and in India even tigers leave the water when the otters approach! There is much to admire in an otter!!
